T he Miami Dolphins signed cornerback Jack Jones and waived Ryan Cooper Jr. in a corresponding move, the team announced Saturday. This move comes after veteran defensive back Artie Burns tore his ACL during the first practice of training camp.

Miami Dolphins rookie guard Jonah Savaiinaea has impressed coaches and teammates with his work ethic and maturity. Savaiinaea skipped summer vacation to train in South Florida and aims to play at around 320 pounds. The Dolphins' new guard duo of Savaiinaea and James Daniels is expected to significantly improve the offensive line.

Matos is the team's international player who was injured at the end of the first practice of training camp and airlifted to a hospital with upper-body injury.

The Dolphins are just as eager to have him and fellow veteran edge rusher Bradley Chubb back on the field as they add second-year player Chop Robinson to the mix. Defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver has even talked about employing all three linebackers at the same time.
