In its latest updates, the National Hurricane Center has downgraded tropical development chances in the Gulf to 10% over the next 2 and 7 days.

The National Hurricane Center is monitoring a tropical disturbance off Florida's eastern coast as it moves west over the week.

We'll need to monitor the Central Atlantic and the Northern Gulf coast, including Louisiana and New Orleans, for a possible tropical depression or tropical storm by the end of this weekend and into next week.
