Jan 23, 2012 · Coming from FL with a 1,7,9 yr old. Looking for a serene winter trip to play in the snow. Will probably spend one day skiing, but skiing isn't the focus, just enjoying a hotel with some snow outside to play in is the goal. We figure the ski resorts are in the best places, plus if it doesn't snow we can always see some there at least.

Dec 30, 2019 · Ideally we would like to ski 2 or 3 days at the resort and do one day of heli or cat skiing. I can't figure out the best time to visit, or how often rain is an issue. I was reading online that they close the north face of the mountain off an on, which is a big part of the resort and the place I really want to ski!
