Timelapse satellite imagery captured between September and November of this year shows the world's former largest iceberg, A23a, continuing to break apart in the southern Atlantic Ocean. The imagery was released by the Cooperative Institute for Research in the Atmosphere (CIRA) and shows A23a drifting north of South Georgia. On November 14, the US National Ice Center said the iceberg had an area of 439.26 square nautical miles. The new largest iceberg, D15a, measures 895.36 square nautical miles
