In a new update, the National Museum in Delhi has dropped non-vegetarian food items from the menu of its week-long exhibition on India’s culinary history. The reason for the changes in the event, Historical Gastronomica, is apparently due to ‘unwritten policy’ based on current sentiments, according to a senior official of the museum.
