This morning, Colin and JA went to JA’s son’s school to sing “Highway of Heroes” with the students for their Remembrance Day ceremony. They were joined by the school’s music teacher, Mr. Popek, who did a great job teaching the students the song. To perform on Juno beach on 80th anniversary of the D day landing this past June really brought in to sharp focus the enormity of the sacrifices that took place there by our forebears to secure the safe and better world that we now inhabit.
