Smokies Update! Starting December 9, 2024, Great Smoky Mountains National Park is beginning a rehabilitation of the 2.3-mile Cosby Entrance Road from TN State Route 32 to the Cosby Campground gate. Cosby Entrance Road will be CLOSED to the public while crews are working. The project is supposed to be completed in Spring 2025. Rehabilitation will include: - Paving of the road, picnic area & trailhead parking lots - Two new handicap parking spaces - Ditch and shoulder improvements. - New road sign
