When rainbows are lunging upstream at caddis trouble's always possible. On Amelia's first cast it never touched her caddis, lunging and pushing it out of its own mouth. A couple minutes rest and that fish ate the same fly as it drift more into it direct feeding line. A perfect start to stumbling onto a perfect morning. Truth is that I didn't leave Amelia much wiggle room on the shot. This one was cruising the bank grass line and the only way to see and capture the shot was from the raised bank to avoid glare, but from that position I had to draw it out 2 feet for the lens.
