China is rapidly becoming a hub for drone racing, recently hosting the 2024 FAI World Drone Racing Championship in Hangzhou, where over 100 pilots from 32 countries competed. South Korea won the team event, while China achieved its best result yet as runner-up. Looking ahead, Chengdu will host The World Games 2025, with drone racing set to take place from August 13–16, further cementing China’s position in the global drone racing scene.
